Quick Study "Got Faith?"

What is the opposite of faith? The answer is fear, worry, and doubt. Faith is asking the Lord for something to be done, and then believing it is done. Without faith, it is impossible to please the Father (Hebrews 11:6). We need to have faith in all that we do. Faith is not believing for something one minute, and giving up the next. Faith is giving God complete control of the situation and knowing that His will IS done. What is God's will? "Thy Kingdom come, they will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven." Matthew 6:10. Take a minute and think about heaven. Remember, he wants His will done here on earth as it is in heaven. His will for His children has never changed and will never change (Malachi 3:6, James 1:17, Hebrews 13:8). He wants the best for all those who are faithful and obedient to His word and His will. God is not a respecter of persons (Acts 10:34, Romans 2:11). He is a compassionate God who will not fail you or destroy you (Deut 4:31). God did not want to destroy me, He wanted to heal me. I gave Him complete control of my life and He healed me. He treats everyone the same; if He healed me, He wants to heal you. Don't ever let your faith flicker. Put God first in "EVERY" decision you make. Amen!!!!!!
