Quick Study "When Will We See Jesus?"

This is a question many Christians ask. "When will we see Jesus." Well I hate to break it to you, but we shouldn't be waiting around for Jesus to return. We as Christians have a couple of jobs to do. We are here to harvest souls for heaven. The other job we have right now is to fix the Body of Christ. I heard Dr. Miles Munroe give a sermon where he talked about what needs to happen in order for the return of Jesus to happen. He challenged pastors to quit preaching about how all the war, destruction, disasters, and evil are signs of the return. I mean these are obvious signs that the world is destroying itself. What Dr. Munroe challenged pastors to do, was to teach on fixing the church; fixing the Body of Christ. There are churches disputing with other churches. There is so much strife and anger amidst the congregation. There are churches loosing numbers; not gaining.
So how do we fix the Body of Christ? We need to allow and submit to the Holy Spirit and His work. We need to allow the Love of Christ to fill our lives and the lives of the congregation in the church. Once we do this, people will want to be a part of the church. This will greatly increase the numbers as we harvest souls for eternity. The Father wants to present the body as holy and blameless. He has has no use for a body which is sick and broken. It is our time as Christians to do what needs to be done. We have some control in when we will see the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, so let us never squander any opportunity to make right and lead others down the road of salvation.
