Quick Study "Lust We Forget"

We as Christians often forget what lust is. For example, we as men right away get offended and will tell you that we don't look at other women in lust. Well I am here to break the news to you. Lust is not only sexual. Many of us have had a lust for success; a lust for more money; a lust for bigger and better homes and cars, etc. I guess you could say that those who live in the flesh have a lust for life. As Christians we live in the spirit; and the spirit and the flesh do not coincide in anyway (Galatians 5:16-17). We as Christians are not to lust after anything or anyone. We are to set our desire towards God's will and His word. Don't get caught up in the web of lust, selfishness, and sin. Forget about lust; leave it behind. Focus your eyes, mind, and thoughts on the Lord.
