The Temptations. . .
Lets talk about the soul stealer, the soul killer, the soul destroyer. I am talking about the father of lies, the deceiver. He is the root of all temptation and it glorifies him when we succumb to his temptations. God does not tempt you, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can handle. So why does He allow us to be tempted? The answer is quite simple. When we are tempted, He wants us to turn to Him for help. Not only will He help us, but situations like this help our faith to grow. He has given us the authority to make choices. God doesn't make our choices for us. . .He expects us to make decisions for ourselves. When it comes to temptation, the only way He can help you out is if you turn to Him and ask Him for help. There are no excuses for falling into temptation, especially when the all powerful and wonderful God has given you a way out. We are no longer sinners but we are the righteousness of God!!!! Satan has the church believing so many lies. I mean when something happens, who gets the blame? Do we blame God or do we blame satan? I assure you, the blame is usually pinned on the Heavenly Father. God allows things to happen, and I believe in a lot of cases He can't intercede. But think about this, do you think God wants to see His children suffer? Do you think God wants to see His children fall into temptation? I believe it tears at the heartstrings of our Father when things happen to people. I believe it tears at the heart of the Father when we as Christians don't exercise our authority. The next time satan tries to tempt you, remember that the Father is there for you. He wants you to turn to Him. He wants you to exercise your authority over the demonic ruler of this world. Always remember these three words. . .GOD IS GOOD!!!!
