Quick Study "Unbelief"
Are you looking for a miracle in your life? Are you looking but yet not receiving? We lived like this for years. We thought God just did miracles for those He chooses. Over time I have learned that it is up to us to receive our miracle from God. It depends on whether we are faithful and obedient to His word and His will for our lives. I've said it before and I will say it again, God is not a respecter of persons. He treats everyone the same (Acts 10:34, Romans 2:11). He is also a God who never changes (Malachi 3:6, James 1:17, Hebrews 13:8).
So why are there so many Christians not receiving their miracle? The answer, UNBELIEF!!!!!
"Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Heb. 11:1
If you don't have faith, you don't believe. In Jesus ministry He healed "ALL" who came. The only time He didn't heal all was when the people of Nazareth rejected Jesus and His ministry. We read that He did not do many miracles because of their unbelief. So remember this, if you don't live in faith, you live in unbelief.

Joel, why is it that as "Christians" we seek God as if He is way out there. We beg and plead with Him to heal, to restore life, protect, provide etc. But in reality (according to the Word) He is in us, not far away at all! We really need to wrap our head around that idea, the idea that God wants those things(the things he promises) but wants to work through "us" as believers because He is in us! I am not sure how clear on this issue I am but I mean this... we should stop asking God to heal and instead go and heal. We don't need to ask for protection, we should trust believe and live in faith because our protection is in us.
