Quick Study "Hindraces Of Success. . .Sluggishness"

We've all known or even worked with someone who is sluggish. People who do enough just to get by. From what I have seen over time, these people don't seem to succeed like those who give and honest effort. Unfortunately, there are way too many Christians who are lazy and sluggish when it comes to working on their spiritual lives. When you compare laziness at work and laziness in your spiritual life, you will see the same result. You are not going to succeed in what you are trying to do. God wants to bless the work of your hands. Whether He blesses you because of your faithfulness and obedience at your job, or your faithfulness and obedience to Him, you will see the same results. If you are not faithful and obedient towards God, or at your job, you will eventually put yourself into poverty. If you continue to not give two hoots about your job and succeeding in anything, you won't. In the long run you will end up living in poverty and lack. The same can be said about your spiritual lives. If you are lazy you will end up in spiritual poverty and you will lack knowledge of the word. So once again we see that success comes as a reward of our faithfulness and obedience. Don't let the devil talk you into being lazy. Give it all to the Lord and let Him help you succeed.
