Quick Study "Focus On God. . .He Is The Only Priority"

Lately it seems that I have been coming back to the topic of keeping our focus on the Father. I am going to let you in on a little secret that the devil doesn't want you to know. As you strengthen your knowledge in the word of God, the devil is going to increase his attacks on you. For example, my wife and I are seeing attacks on our finances and our health. In the past we would have given up and probably screamed out to God, "Why are you always doing this to us?" God isn't putting this garbage on us. It is our own selfishness and stupid pride that lets the enemy in. Once the enemy is in, he will begin his relentless attack on you and your family. The best way to get through these times is by not giving satan the upper hand, but keeping your focus on Jesus. When your backs are up against the wall, satan wants to see you shake, he wants to see your fear. Don't let it get to this point. Don't give satan the upper hand. Before, during, and after these trials we need to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. The Father knows your needs, and He wants to meet your needs. God does not want to see His children suffer. He wants to honor and bless you. We so often forget that we have something that the world does not have. We can turn to Jesus who offers us a way out of the scariest situations. What a calming feeling you get when you keep your focus on Jesus, knowing that everything will be alright.
