Quick Study "The Guilt Free Life"

Guilt, one of satan's many tools in his arsenal against the believer. Even after you become born again, satan will continue to try to make you feel guilty for your past. There are too many Christians that have been taught that they are to feel guilty for their pasts. I am here to set the record straight. In Hebrews 8:12 and Isaiah 43:25 we read that God has blotted out your past sins, He has forgotten them. All satan is trying to do with guilt is to remind of us our past sins. He knows God has forgotten them, but he wants you to remember and dwell on them. If God has forgotten our sins, what do you think we should be doing? We need to be doing the will of God, and it is His will for us to be forgiven and our sins to be forgotten. When you first make the commitment to serving God, your sins are erased, they are forgotten. As believers we are not perfect, though we strive to be. That is why God has given us the promise of 1 John 1:9. We can confess our sins to Him and He is faithful and just and will forgive us of our sins. As soon as you are forgiven, the sin is forgotten. We have to remember this as believers. If God has forgotten our sins, we too need to forget our sins. God offers His children "The Guilt Free Life." It's your choice, ask forgiveness and forget, or let the enemy control you with guilt. Get the guilt out, and be free from the bondage of satan.
