Quick Study "Thanksgiving"

Thanksgiving shouldn't just be one day out of the year. As Christians, we should be celebrating thanksgiving 365 days of the year. Not a day goes by where we shouldn't be thankful for all the blessings in our lives. Unfortunately too many Christians are spending their days upset and bitter about such stupid and petty little things. We are going to have junk in our lives. A Christian who is truly faithful and obedient will know how to deal with this stuff. During the rough times, we need to continue to be thankful. Too many Christians are thankful until they hit a rough spot, then it seems like they are no longer thanking God, but blaming God. My wife and I have learned how to live a life of thankfulness. When we hit a rough spot, an attack from the enemy, we continue to thank the Lord for all that He has done for us. This drives satan absolutely crazy!!!! He wants you to start doubting God. I believe the only way that you can continue to be thankful during the rough times is by faith; knowing that the Lord will come through for you. So many times we have wondered how we were going to get through certain situations. We stood in faith and believed that the Lord would help us, and He always has (once again driving satan nuts!!!!) So continue to give thanks. Don't let the devil try and take your joy away. Give thanks to the Lord for everything, and He will surely bless you.

Scripture Reading 1 Thess. 5:18, Psalm 107:8, Psalm 107:1
