Got Patience?

As the summer continues it feels like my patience is running at an all time low. I know this sounds crazy but children have the tendancy of testing your patience!!!! It is so easy just to snap and get mad, but that's the way of the world. The devil wants you to snap on your kids. Jesus never pushed the children away. He never told them to "zip it" or "can it". He loved the little children, no matter who they were or where they came from. God wants us to do the same with our children. He wants us to love them and to discipline when it is needed. He wants us to imitate His parenting skills so that we can pass them on to our children. Next time your children are pushing your buttons, take time to focus on God and remind yourself, "Jesus loves the little children."
