The Prayer Offered In Faith. . .

One thing we've really enjoyed since joining our new church is the amount of time spent in prayer for others. The time where you can receive prayer of join in praying for your brothers and sisters. As Christians we need to understand that God isn't the source behind affliction. God wants prayers offered up in faith so that He can restore those who are afflicted. He wants to restore and raise up those who are sick. We so often forget that its up to us to pray for that person, not restore that person. God does the restoration. The only way God can restore that person, is if that person believes that God will heal them. It takes faith from both parties involved. Whether you are praying for someone or someone is praying for you, it takes faith to see results. Don't get frustrated if you continue to pray for someone and you don't see any results. You are doing your part, they need to be doing theirs.
