Quick Study "Be Confident In The Father"

When you hear the word "confidence", what do you think it means? Well, it's good to be a confident person. It's good to be confident in all you do. So when is confidence not such a great idea? When you put your confidence in the world, and not in the word. When it comes to living the Christian life, God wants us to be confident. I mean if you are not confident, faith is not going to work for you. For example, faith is believing something has happened before it has actually happened. If you don't have the confidence that what you are believing for is going to happen, you have no faith. As Christians we must be confident in the word of God and be determined to do God's will. To many Christians have put their confidence in the world instead of the Lord. They feel the world will prosper them, not knowing that the Lord is their provider; not knowing if only they had confidence in Him, he will provide. God has created us all to have confidence. Though with that being said He does not want us to be over confident. So remember this, you never have to be discouraged or afraid, because you can be confident that our Father will be with you wherever you go.
