Quick Study "Are You A Sad Christian?"

Are you a sad Christian? Do you mope around and feel sorry for yourself? If this is you I have something that you need to know. The devil has a tool he uses against man. This tool is depression. I have heard people say that depression is God's way of humbling them. Nowhere in scripture will you find anything to do with that nonsense. We are created in the image of God, and God is not a depressed God. When you are depressed, you are full of doubt, worry, and fear. These are all the opposite of faith, and what is not of faith does not please God. People want to be around you when you are full of joy. They see the love of God radiating through you. God has given us a joyful heart, not a sad heart. If Jesus had just moped around, people would have stayed away from His ministry. True faith is shown when you put your trust in the Lord and ask Him to deliver you from the stronghold of depression. Don't give satan the credit by telling yourself that God has made you depressed. The devil is a liar and he will try his hardest to bring doubt and fear into your life. "This is the day the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it!!!!!!"
