Quick Study "The Righteous Will Be Rewarded"

Right on, the righteous will be rewarded!!! We are the righteous (Romans 1:17). In Proverbs 13:21 we read that the righteous will be rewarded with prosperity. People get the wrong idea when they here the word prosperity. They right away think its about money. In 3 John 2 we read that God wants to see His children prosper in every way (spiritually, physically, and yes, financially.) Something we need to remember in this is that God isn't going to prosper someone financially if you just sit around, doing nothing, and waiting for Him to bless you. He wants to bless the work of your hands. He can't bless you if your hands are always idle. He wants to bless you with good health and long life, but He can't if you abuse your body with things of the world. When it comes to your finances, increase is a simple concept. Tithing, sowing, and reaping. When we tithe, the Lord blesses us. When we sow into good ground, our harvest will be plentiful and bountiful. Those who are in right standing with God will do these things. They will commit themselves to giving. When you give, the Father will reward. With that being said we need to remember one very important thing, we can't give grudgingly!!! We need to give in love, knowing the Lord will provide us with a bountiful harvest. Praise and thank God when you give. Not only will you be helping someone in need, but you will open yourself up to great blessings from the Father.
