The Gospel Of John. . .

My wife and I are currently viewing the "Gospel Of John", which is a three DVD set. John's account of the ministry of Jesus Christ is the most interesting and the most descriptive. I can't get enough when it comes to reading about the life, miracles, and death of Jesus. We so often forget that the gospels are a blueprint to the Christian walk. We are to be carrying on the ministry of Jesus Christ. We are to be a part of miracles, as His disciples were. As we were watching the first DVD last night, we thought about how amazing it would have been to be a disciple. Then we remembered we are His disciples and we have the authority that He gave the original twelve disciples. He gave them the authority to heal, cast out demons, and perform other miracles (Matthew 10:8). My challenge for you is to read and study the gospel of John. Take your time and really let it soak in. And while you are reading John, remember that these amazing miracles are still happening today, and the Father wants us to be apart of them.
